ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Aubrey, but you can call me TopAubs. I am in my 20's and I live in a small town in Minnesota. I graduated High school in 2011 and immediately entered into the work force.  I have since then worked in a bank as a teller, as an office manager for a plumbing company, a secretary for a real estate firm and also at a title and abstracting company. I also have worked and continue to work out at the farm since I was 14, but my passion has always been with fitness, nutrition, and continually working toward becoming my best self.

A little about me and my fitness Journey and the reason I started TopAubs Fitness, I have always been active and into sports since the day I can remember. I have played softball, tennis, volleyball and basketball. When I was 16 I destroyed my knee (Severed my ACL, tore my MCL and my meniscus) during Volleyball, but that didn’t stop me from playing sports. I made a comeback and played my senior year in a knee Brace. That was probably one of my worst injuries, I have also tore my rotator cuff, severely sprained my Achilles tendon among other more common injuries that go along with sports. One of my favorite things during the sports was when we would go into the weight room and lift; I believe that is where my passion with weight lifting really began. Once I graduated, I continued on with weight lifting in the local fitness center. Even though I didn’t go to college I was always reading and studying about the body and health and fitness related information. My knee was better, but it didn’t feel 100% so  I rehabbed my body back to full power and since then my strength has surpassed anything I thought I could do. When in the gym I would always gravitate towards the weight room area. People would ask for help or tips and pointers and I was super happy to help and share the knowledge I had acquired.  People would ask me if I was a trainer and if not why don’t I just go for it and become a certified trainer. So I did, in July 2016 I passed the NASM Personal Training Exam. And the rest is history!

A little bit about TopAubs Fitness and what I stand for. Promoting a well rounded lifestyle that is healthy and attainable. I don’t believe there is only one way to reach your goals. I continue to learn so I can help you the best I can and fit your needs.  I promote eating a holistic diet and also incorporating some treats every now and then. I don’t believe in prescribing supplements as they are not necessary to reach health and fitness goals, but I have a good background of knowledge on them and can recommend some, if that is the direction you want to head or just want to learn more about them. My mission is to help you reach your goals, whatever it may be, whether it be to lose weight, run a 5k, gain muscle, even if you just need help getting into a healthier routine I am here for you. No goal is too small and no dream is out of reach!
